Conducting interviews is a major part of almost any job or profession. Specialist investigators often do not have any formal training other than perhaps understanding of the law relevant to conducting interviews. Non-specialist investigators certainly have little if any formal training in how to conduct interviews and yet it is often left to these non-specialists to conduct important interviews with staff, management, customers and suspects. This course will assist anyone who is called on to perform an interview in understanding what is needed before the interview can be done including information, evidence, location and technology. Further the course will assist interviewers in identifying deception through both verbal and non-verbal communication/observation and the use of cognitive techniques to assist interviewees provide the information or evidence which is the goal of the interview.
The trainer is a highly skilled and experienced fraud and corruption investigator, trainer and interviewer with more than 30 years’ experience in conducting investigations into fraud, corruption, FCPA breaches and other criminal activities in many countries and across many industries.
